I have lived in Winfrith Newburgh for six years and during that time I have walked numerous footpaths and tracks in and around the village. These beautiful walks are just a few of my favourite routes, some of which can be shortened or extended and others can be combined to form longer walks.  So, if you like walking, whether it be a short stroll, a brisk walk, a long hike, whether you’re an early bird, like to combine a walk with a pub lunch, a walk before your evening meal, or like to make a day of it, you will not be disappointed with the variety of opportunities awaiting you in and around Winfrith. These are not just walks - they are an adventure - for adults, youngsters, and families alike.  Each walk is a wonderland of astonshing beauty.  You will be thrilled and humbled as you roam the footpaths and the scenery unfolds before you. Walks 1 and 2 start in the village of Winfrith. Walks 3,4 start at Daggers Gate. Walk 5 starts at free car park at East Chaldon. Walk 6 - For something more challenging and the ultimate in coastal views, head to Lulworth Cove and pick up the South West Coast Path.
